THEP maintains a magnificent herd of �equine therapists�. Both the tangible and intangible gifts our horses give to our participants, volunteers and staff are innumerable and priceless. Each member of our herd is a treasure in a way that is unique to them; each, absolutely, has their own tale to tell. Our horses� willingness and unlimited hearts have captured the hearts of all of us who know them. We believe that if you were to meet our horses and learn their stories, they would capture your heart as well.

Jewel is a 17 year old Quarter horse mare, liver chestnut in color. She is often the first horse our clients meet during their evaluation. Jewel is famous for her smooth strides & easy going personality.

Cody - Is a 15 year old Palomino gelding. Everyone who rides Cody, from the beginner to the more advanced, love his smooth rythmic gait. 

Chief is a 21 year old Arabian gelding, chestnut in color. Chief is a very patient horse who is happy just to walk along while the client is learning to lead a horse for the first time. He has a very animated gait & a quiet loving spirit.

Rio is a 17 year old Spanish Ranch horse gelding, Chestnut in color. Rio is known for his smooth gaits & patience for allowing clients to mount. He has a knack for giving clients confidence & is very huggable.

Apache is a 21 year old Pinto Pony, brown & white in color. Due to her short stature, she sees a lot of the smaller clients Apache is famous for her wisdom & craftiness and is a crowd pleaser when she gives rides in her pony cart.

Misty is a 16 year old Thoroughbred mare, dark bay in color.Everyone loves Misty's color, sweet expressions & caring eyes. She is famous for her long slow strides & laid back disposition.

Marley is a 24 year old Arabian gelding, chestnut in color. Marley is known to everyone for his big animated strides, his big soulful eyes & his tongue that sticks out.

Stevie is a 15 year old Appendix Quarter horse mare, chestnut in color. Stevie is happy to stand quietly while clients learn how to groom. She is known for her big rhythmic gait & her kind & affectionate personality.

Mojoe is a 12 year old buckskin pony. Even though he was obtained under unnusual circumstances, he is one of our most loved horses. Nothing bothers this guy. He may be small, but his heart is large.

King is a 14 year old chestnut quarter horse. 

Lonesome is a 12 year old chestnut quarter horse

Molly is a 13 year old mule. She is well known for her large expressive ears. The sweetest thing you will ever meet.
